[01] INTRODUCTION 介绍

Climate change and environmental protection has been one of the most discussed subjects globally among Governments, regulators, companies, investors and civil society and other various stakeholders. In an effort to stop this trend a major call for better sustainability or environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and reporting by organisations has reached fever pitch. This course focuses on the introduction of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), especially in the relationship with the Company, challenges, opportunity and implementation. The course will also covering the introduction of ESG Standard, Framework and Bursa Requirement on the Sustainability Report. 

气候变化和环境保护已成为全球政府、监管机构、公司、投资者、 民间社会和其他各方利益相关者中讨论最多的话题之一。为了阻止气候变化恶化，各方纷纷呼吁各单位组织加速改善以环境、社会和 治理(ESG)为基础概念，进而实现可持续性发展，打造更美好的 未来。本课程重点介绍了环境、社会和治理(ESG)的概念，特别是与公司的关系、挑战、机遇和实施。课程还将涵盖探讨ESG标准 、框架以及马来西亚交易所对可持续性报告的要求。

The program beside the lecture is using interactive activities including role play, actual situation case discussion, group discussion.

KEVIN TAN 

HRD Corp Certified Trainer, ESG Strategic Consultant 

Kevin is a Certified Sustainability Professional by GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), and HRD Corporation TTT Trainer. He obtained Bachelor Degree (Hon) in Science (Nuclear Physic) year 1999, and subsequently his Master Degree in Business Administration (Majoring in Marketing) in 2017.
He has more than 25 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development and Operation, including serving the Corporate Company (Bina Puri Berhad and GD Holdings Group) for 10 years. 

Business Experience in industries: 

• Event Management, Marketing & branding, Theme Park, Telecommunication Chain Store, F&B Franchising, Proper- ty Development and Tourism Industry 

Community Experience: 

• Actively involves in serving community, holding many positions in different associations 

• Awarded with Kesatria Mahkota Wilayah (KMW) by SPB Yang Dipertuan Agong (2014)
