[07] TRAINER PROFILE

AQIM MARZUKI

Chartered Accountant (M) Acca HRDC Accredited Trainer, Certified Greenhouse Gas Practitioner

A distinguished professional, has made a lasting impact in climate change mitigation and sustainability through decades of work. She has spent years rendering her service at a Global Anti-Poverty Network under UNDP where she has coordinated various regional and global programs and led comprehensive training programs and innovative initiatives in sustainable practices.

Pn. Aqim is also the speaker at prestigious Global Finance Forum (GIFF) 2022 by Bank Negara Malaysia on the topic of sustainability. She kick started the co-existing wildlife-human program and smart AI farming with Huawei. She also partners with INCEIF to go beyond SDG and further into maqasid syariah and has published papers recognizing her work.

Pn. Aqim is also part of the Rancangan Malaysia Ke (RMK) 12 and RMK 13 policies, shaping a greener future. Her influence extends to organizations like MARDI, MYGAP, DVS, LFSA, where she guides sustainable practices into companies and government policies. Notably, she represents Malaysia in the "Indonesia Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Program on Climate Change" showcasing her commitment to regional environmental collaboration.

She has trained listed companies, public listed, multinational companies as well as various government agencies including UMW, Petronas, OBYU, KACC construction, CN Asia, Vacuumschmelze (M), Pernas, Jetama, Pertubuhan Wanita Pahang to name a few. She is also a panelist for various economic forums.
